Bookmas 2016 : Day 2

Hey guys, I have decided to participate in Hailey’s Bookmas 2016. I’m one day late so I have made no book tree which was what was the topic for day one, but I will start from day 2. So it’s like a year in review specifically for books.

Day 2 : Top 2 YA Debuts of 2016.

So, Goodreads has about 260 books which were debuts this year. I don’t think I read many debuts as such so I’m listing the books I read as well as wanted to read.

1. Bookishly Ever After by Isabel Bandeira

A book about a bookworm, who loves knitting as well, falling in love with a non reader slowly, was one of my favourite reads this year. It’s one of the few really good books with no mental stress or heavy emotions. I read this one pretty early in the year and I even had the chance to interview the author, Isabel Bandeira for Dramatic Soul, and you can check the interview here. Yay!

2. The Star – Touched Queen by Roshni Chokshi.

A book by an Indian author, based on Indian mythology (I love Indian Mythology). So I really do want to read this book soon! Um, no I haven’t read this one. I have started it just today morning and so far I have liked it enough to add it to the top 2 debuts for me 😀

So that’s my tiny post for the Day 2 of Bookmas. Stay tuned for more such Bookmas related posts!
