Vacations are on..!

Finally the post that I’ve been waiting to write for a long time! My exams are over! My final exams are done with!

Actually, I can not even express my feelings at this point. My last paper was on 12th of April, i.e last Saturday. After submitting the paper, for few moments I was in a dazed condition for a few moments. I couldn’t believe that it was the last exam that i was going to appear for before graduating. I’ve been in a celebrating mood ever since.

There were so many things that I had not done for the past few months. On top of that list is READING.

I made a list of books that I have to read and there is one condition I’ve put on myself… I’m not going to read any e-books… Though it is convenient to read e-books at times, I tend to get stuck to my computer or mobile so as to read it… Also, I prefer to actually hold a book in my hand and read it. So I’m going to go book hunting every time I need a new book.

This is the small list of the books that I wish to read in these next few weeks :

  • The Fault in Our Stars – John Green
  • Catching Fire – Suzanne Collins (I’ve read it as a e-book)
  • Mockingjay – Suzanne Collins (I’ve read it as a e-book)
  • Divergent – Veronica Roth
  • Insurgent – Veronica Roth
  • Alligiant – Veronica Roth

All of the above books I wish to read in the next 2-3 weeks.

Apart from that I really wish to strengthen my website designing skills and become properly acquainted with PHP, MySQL, and jQuery. This I’ll do on my own, i.e. I’ll learn it on my own by practicing and building small applications using these languages, and I hope you guys will help me with that. Also, I want to build i proper theme theme for WordPress website, which I have been avoiding for many years now.

All in all I’m looking forward to a very busy vacation. I’ve to also catch with my friends with whom I’ve hardly had any contact in the past few months ! 😀

I’ll keep blogging about how my vacations go when ever time permits!

Take Care!

  1. I can feel your excitement about graduation. Graduations are happy and sad at the same time. Happy because you’ve reach another milestone in your life and you get to leave your school and you can choose to never come back at all. LOL. And sad, because you and your friends part ways.

I’ve read all the books on your list. A+++ to all. I suggest Everyday by David Levithan, Paper Towns and Looking For Alaska both by John Green (if you haven’t read them though). E-books has its advantages and disadvantages. I know I’m really desperate when I choose to read the ebook. Lmao

Why were you avoiding making WP themes for yourself? It can be complicated at first but when you get to hold of the reins, you’ll realize it isn’t so bad after all.
